CECAFA (Council of East & Central Africa Football Associations)
The CECAFA Senior Cup Challenge is the oldest football tournament in Africa. It is the successor tournament of the Gossage Cup, held 37 times from 1926 until 1966, and the East and Central African Senior Challenge Cup, held 7 times between 1965 and 1971.
Ethiopia has won the tournament four times (participated 13 times), with Kenya have the second most number of wins at 5 and Uganda having won a record ten times since its inception in 1926.
